About
A cinematic convolution reverb built for orchestral and choral space in heavy productions — cathedral, hall, and chamber tails for strings, choir, and everything that needs to bloom into a wide, dark stereo image behind the wall of guitars. Its impulse response is generated procedurally, off the audio thread — or load your own WAV/AIFF IR to override it entirely.
Why the name?
A requiem is the mass for the dead — music written for vast, stone-vaulted spaces. This Requiem generates exactly those spaces: cathedral and hall tails for strings, choirs and everything that should bloom behind the wall of guitars.
Features
- Procedural impulse response — generated from Decay, Damping, Space and Early/Late Balance; no sample library, no licensing
- Space — Cathedral / Hall / Chamber early-reflection density and spread
- Size — continuous apparent-size axis within the chosen Space, independent of Decay (v0.2.0)
- Bass Decay — 25–175% control over how much longer the low end rings relative to mid/high (v0.2.0)
- Freeze — sustains the tail's spectral content as a bounded, convolution-based pad
- Modulation — subtle chorus-style movement on the wet tail only; 0% is bit-identical
- Pre-Delay — 0–250 ms to keep rhythm parts tight while strings and choir bloom behind them
- Width — 0–200% mid/side scaling of the wet stereo image
- User IR override — load your own captured space, persisted in the plugin state
- Latency-compensated Mix and post-mix Output trim
- Factory presets & preset management — browse/save/import/export via the in-plugin preset bar

The latest builds are published on GitHub Releases.
The macOS binaries are Developer-ID-signed, notarized by Apple and stapled — they install and open without Gatekeeper warnings. Windows builds are not yet Authenticode-signed; SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher.
